The main aspects to take into consideration are your height, boat width, and your discipline of choice. In doubt about which length suits you? Why not read our canoe paddle length blog, or get in touch with our specialist staff.

Shaft Material - As standard the VE Glass Offside comes with a straight black glass shaft. This is a sweet spot in the range, with the glass shaft offering some flex to reduce the strain on the body. Some customers choose to move up to a straight carbon shaft. This will give a more responsive feel but you will compromise by feeling a little more impact through the joints.

Shaft Construction - The one piece standard layup will always be the most popular, being the strongest and lightest way to produce the paddle. Some customers will choose to upgrade to the 2 piece option, which also allows 10cm of length adjustment and limitless feather changes. It can be useful if you desire one paddle to enjoy across multiple disciplines. If selecting this option please choose the minimum paddle length you need. i.e. select 145cm in 2 piece and your paddle will adjust from 145-155cm.

FEATURES

Whitewater construction

Toughened epoxy pre-impregnated woven glass fibre

Weight: 713 g (150 cm carbon shaft)

Blade Surface Area: 745 cm²

Blade Length x Width: 195 mm x 510 mm

Ergo polypropylene T-grip

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0941/5970/0295/files/ve_glass_offside_glass_shaft_canoe_paddle_colour_choices_d842298e-ecc9-49c4-a070-a0fd533879ab.jpg?v=1790938279
