This is available in a range of colours to suit your scheme, including black, blue, green, red and yellow.  In addition, the same cord type can be added as an optional extra, allowing you to secure airbags by cross lacing from above. The cord is of the highest quality, finished with a 32 plait weave. Its low stretch properties ensure you will not see any slackening of your lacing work over time.  We have attached nylon line to either end of the cord, meaning that you can pull the cord quickly through the plastic tubing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003cu\u003eInside loop casing\u003c\/u\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe picture below shows the inside of a laced boat that is finished with a polyethylene tube encasing the low stretch lace. These loops are used to attach airbags\/buoyancy blocks at the bow and stern, as well as to secure small items inside the boat. For example, a throwline, bottle and any kit you may need to access quickly.  Standard lengths are 130mm for vinyl gunwale boats.  However, our preference is for a shorter 110mm section at the airbags.  The kit is supplied with twenty four 110cm sections which should be used at the bow and stern.  You will also receive twenty 130mm sections for the centre section of the boat. Nobody enjoys drilling holes in their boat. However, the instructions should give you confidence.  We're also here to help with a video call or similar should you need support. These loops have a range of uses, from an added place to grab in a rescue situation, or tying up your canoe when taking a break.  We believe they’re a valuable asset. There are a few choices of rope available.  The classic 11mm yellow\/red floating rope remains the most popular.
