Reducing the weight gives the board a livelier feel, increases performance and reduces drag. The reduction in weight makes the boards manoeuvre easier with less swing weight, great for aerial moves and wave riding. The reduction in weight has been achieved by implementing custom US fin boxes which are 50% lighter, meaning 100gs per fin box = 400g savings on the Quad.
